Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr is being dragged online for reportedly shaking veteran juju musician, King Sunny Ade amongst other notable dignitaries.
The video was shared to Twitter by user, @gemyoruba, who called her out for her alleged disrespect.
In the video, she could be seen getting introduced to the men who was seated close to Burna Boy’s mother.
Based on the Yoruba culture (Nigeria) and owing to their honorary status in the society, she was supposed to kneel while greeting them.
However, the young artiste stood and shook their hands while greeting them. This enraged so many Netizens who believed she was disrespectful and not a true daughter of the soil.
