In the post Ilebaye made on her verified social media platform, she provided some instructions to her fans on how to donate to her through a legitimate channels.
This was because according to the star, unscrupulous people where pretending to defraud unsuspecting fans.
In a new post, the BBNaija All Stars winner’s management clarified that the intention as not to solicit for funds but to protect her fans from potential scams.
“This tweet was solely to avoid people who want to give gifts falling into the hands of scammers. We didn’t solicit for funds, we only highlighted the account we have access to.
”Too many fake account numbers are circulating and we will not be held accountable for any misappropriation,” the post read.
