Renowned Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci claim that popular Ghanaian jollof, has no flavor raising the ire of Ghanaians online.
The chef became popular after breaking the Guinness World record for longest cooking time.
She made this known in a podcast with other Ghanaians saying that this point has already been proven in a Jollof competition between Nigeria and Ghana.
Hilda Baci said that in the competition which she won, she remembered tasting the Ghananian jollof but it had no flavor since it was a competition, she was sure that that was the competitor’s best attempt.
The chef says she has seen their recipes for the different type of the country’s jollof and it is basic with no spice or flavour.
On the other hand, she praised Nigerian jollof saying that Nigerians do not play with flavor building.
