Popular Nigerian musician, Joeboy has melted the hearts of many due to his philanthropic deed as he offers financial assistance to Unilag students due to the hike in their school fees.
This is coming after the massive protest organised by student’s over the outrageous increase of the school fees.
Despite the protest, the school management has refused to listen to their pleas for a reduction, insisting on the new fees.
Joeboy who is an alumni of the institution, spoke about his time at the University where the fees was still 20k leading him to pledge his assistance to students with financial difficulties.
In his words;
“Unilag school fees during my time was 20k and a lot of people were still struggling to pay. I can’t imagine how hard it is for students now that it’s over 100k.
