Man flees after shooting his neighbor over noise making in US

A 42 year old man identified as Jason Pass, is currently on the run after he shot and killed a man and his son over noise making.

A 42 years old man identified as Jason Pass is currently on the run after shooting and killing a father and his stepson in a Brooklyn apartment after a fight over noise making.

A manhunt is underway by American law enforcement officers for the man identified after he fled from the crime scene.

The irate neighbor pulled out a gun and shot and killed his victims, identified as Bladimy Mathurin, and his stepson Chinwai Mode, was caught on camera by a security camera in the hallway.

In the CCTV footage Mathurin was seen holding a pair of scissors to Pass’s neck at one point while his wife tries to pull him away.

According to the NYPD, Pass has reported his upstairs neighbours to 311 six times since March 2022 because of what sounded like loud floor hammering.

“Noise complaints are basically people walking. The apartment upstairs did not have carpeting, so people walking back and forth generated these calls,” Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.

Numerous complaints from both flats were received, according to the building’s management, and mediation was promised but never completed.
