Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci celebrates Irish chef, Alan fisher after he breaking her record and setting a new Guinness World Record by cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.


Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci has celebrated Irish chef, Alan Fisher, who recently set a new Guinness World Record by cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.

Alan Fisher, achieved the title of the longest cooking hours by surpassing the previous record held by Nigeria’s Hilda Baci, with a remarkable time of 119 hours and 57 minutes.


His achievement was confirmed by Guinness World Records organization on their Twitter page.


He claimed the longest cooking marathon (individual) with a time of 119 hours and 57 minutes, 22 hours longer than the record held by Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci.

In addition to his longest cooking marathon, Alan also secured the record for the longest baking marathon (individual), with 47 hours and 21 minutes, surpassing the previous record holder, Wendy Sandner of USA, who held a time of 31 hours and 16 minutes.

Following the confirmation of this achievement, Hilda Baci took to her social media to congratulate Alan Fisher, acknowledging his feat with a time of 119 hours and 57 minutes.

Her statement: “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!”
