Nigerian singer and songwriter, Peruzzi vows to sue an Influencer who posted a fake tweet about him and Chioma Adeleke.

Popular Nigerian singer, Peruzzi has vowed to sue an influencer who posted a false tweet about him and Chioma Adeleke.

The photoshopped tweet which claimed that Peruzzi was involved in a scandal involving Davido, the head of his record company, and Chioma, Davido’s wife went viral on social media today.

The scandal started when @belikebaddy, an X user, posted a faked tweet purportedly from Peruzzi’s account, implying that his boss, Davido had cut him off because of an alleged relationship with Chioma.

Peruzzi hurriedly clarified on his page that he was not associated with the fake tweet, saying it was completely made up.

After seeing the manipulated tweet, Peruzzi warned @belikebaddy that disseminating incorrect information would have legal repercussions.

Following that, @belikebaddy apologized in public and took ownership of the fake tweet.

“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involved @peruzzi and @davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions have caused, and I promise it’ll never happen again. My apologies to DMW Management,” he wrote.

Peruzzi, on the other hand saif he will not forgive the man and is adamant on taking legal action.

The singer wrote:

Y’all retweet this, so he can have money for court. God forgives, I do too. But not this time. F**k that.”
