Tobi Amusan clocked an impressive 7.75 seconds, surpassing her own previous record of 7.77 seconds set in Kazakhstan a month ago.

Despite her remarkable achievement, Tobi Amusan secured the second position in Boston trailing behind America’s Tia Jones, who claimed first place with 7.72 seconds.

Tobi Amusan was closely followed by Bahama’s Devynne Chalton who finished third place in 7.76 seconds.

Tobi Amusan had already made waves earlier in the athletic season on January 27 when she bested the African record previously held by her compatriot Gloria Alozie.
