Why detaining VeryDarkMan for more than 24 hours is oppression – Isaac Fayose


Nigerian socialite, Isaac Fayose has opined that the police detaining popular social media commentator, VeryDarkMan for over 24 hours is oppressive.


Popular Nigerian socialite, Isaac Fayose opines that the police detaining famous activist, VeryDarkMan for over 24 hours is simply oppression.

In a video on his Instagram page, the brother of former governor of Ekiti state claimed that detention should not be longer than 24 hours. However, VeryDarkMan was in police detention for over five days without court order.

He also questioned why VeryDarkMan was unreasonably held by the police despite fulfilling all the bail conditions.

Isaac said that even though they are right to accuse him of a crime, they still need to file charges against him before they can detain him.

He called for the release of Verydarkman and counselled people to always do good and refrain from pursuing unhealthy retribution against others.
