Veteran Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle, has revealed her reason for retaining her ex-husband’s last name ‘Doyle’ despite their divorce.
It would be recalled that the thespian confirmed in a recent interview that she and her ex-husband had separated; after which Patrick Doyle’s marriage to another woman surfaced.
In a recent post on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Ireti penned a post on how she followed the fame and fortune that came with her career.
Curious fans, however, questioned the veteran actress on her reasons for keeping her ex-husband’s last name despite their divorce.
Ireti stated that the last name became hers already because of the many years of career she had with it.
In her words, “Ireti Doyle” is a name that is nearly 30 years in the making. It’s my mine.”
